Designed for integration with the VELscope Vx Imaging Adapter, which is sold separately, it facilitates seamless imaging processes during examinations.

The device features automatic configuration settings tailored for both fluorescence and white-light clinical photography, streamlining the imaging workflow for practitioners.

The compare functionality enables side-by-side visualization of white-light and fluorescence images, supporting more informed chair-side decision making and improving patient communication.

Photographs can be annotated with qualitative descriptions—including details such as location, color, and surface texture—allowing clinicians to document specific areas of interest comprehensively. All images are stored within a patient database, enabling convenient review and management.

The entire photo database can be exported to a computer via iTunes, with images organized by date and patient name, simplifying integration into third-party dental imaging or practice management software.
